Why I built this

Too many brilliant people are capped at the speed of their own hands.

I watched smart people sit on businesses, books, programs, and institutions they had already done the thinking for. They did not lack ideas. They lacked the team, time, and technical leverage to turn those ideas into something operating in the world.

At the same time, the systems marketed as “democratized AI” kept the most important thing centralized: ownership. People could rent intelligence by the month, but the provider still controlled the model, limits, memory, and off-switch.

I built cYpher.camp because our community should not enter the agent era as permanent tenants. We should know how to direct these systems, evaluate them, carry our knowledge with us, and use the leverage to build things that outlive a chat window.

Sovereign AI means the agent knows your work, follows your rules, and belongs to you. The keys are yours.

The standard

Six promises we are building around.

Some of this is live today. Some of it is the standard we are still building toward. We would rather show the gap honestly than describe a future feature as if it already shipped.

You own it.

Your agent, files, memory, skills, settings, and business knowledge belong to you. We do not sell your data or use it to train our own models. Relevant information is processed by hosting and AI providers and connected services; provider terms and settings can differ. See our privacy policy.

02 Available on paid plans

You can take it with you.

Every paid plan includes Agent Brain Export for your files, memory, skills, and settings. Start on managed infrastructure, then restore that operating knowledge on a compatible runtime and reconnect your tools and credentials. An export is not a full VM backup.

03 Building next

We measure what changes.

The scoreboard should move beyond credits used to tasks completed, human intervention, time reclaimed, and revenue influenced, confirmed by the customer and never invented by us.

Use DeepSeek, Kimi, Claude, GPT, or local models because the work calls for it, not because one vendor owns your future. Convenience should never become helplessness.

The sovereignty ladder

Sovereignty is built one level at a time.

You do not become sovereign by buying increasingly expensive hardware. You become sovereign as your agency, portability, and control increase. Each level should leave you less dependent on any one provider and more able to carry your operating knowledge forward.

    Use the best available model for the work in front of you. Cloud access is a practical starting point, but access alone does not give you ownership or control.

    Delegate work.

    Give the system persistent context, tools, permissions, and clear approval boundaries. The shift is from asking isolated questions to assigning bounded jobs.

    Own the brain.

    Keep your memory, context, rules, tools, and records outside any single model. With a cYpher.camp hosted agent, models become replaceable engines instead of permanent dependencies.

    Run suitable private and repeatable work locally, then use cloud models when capability, speed, or scale earns the call. The operating system stays yours while each job goes to the right engine.

    We are pro-local when privacy, security, workload, budget and means, and technical capacity justify it. Hosted access is the accessible default, and private hardware is never an admission requirement.

An AI work shift is a planned bundle of work for your AI Hire—such as preparing sales conversations, organizing customer notes, and drafting follow-ups. You define the job and what good work looks like.

How we estimate an AI work shift

For cost planning, we currently budget 500,000 tokens per AI work shift: 350,000 new input/context-tool tokens, 50,000 output/reasoning tokens, and 100,000 cache-read tokens. This is a starting assumption, not a measured human-workday equivalent. Idle wall-clock time does not consume tokens. Voice and connected tools may incur additional usage.

These are token-cost comparisons, not measured job costs or human workdays. The illustrative range is 0.5–1.5 times the reference estimate, not an observed range. Actual usage depends on context, retries, tools, and model choice.

How the mission becomes a product

Ownership has to survive contact with real work.

  1. 1. Capture judgment.

    Once your agent is active, the optional interview helps you practice teaching your preferences and reviewing its work. You apply the rules in your agent; the interview does not automatically write its memory.

  2. 2. Assign recurring work.

    Give the agent one clear lane, the context it needs, and the conditions that require a human decision.

  3. 3. Keep people in command.

    The agent prepares and executes within its lane. You approve purchases, money movement, external communication, and sensitive decisions.

  4. 4. Prove it, then carry it forward.

    Measure the work, improve the rules, and keep the files that make the system yours. Hosted convenience should never require surrendering the operating knowledge you created.
